Want to get away and experience living in a rural farm scene. Come visit the Homestead Country Retreat! It is a comfortable and cozy farmhouse rich with history and stories. The land has been in the family since 1855, when it was purchased from the U.S. government for $1.25/acre! Our family is still involved in production agriculture and being stewards of the land. We invite you to come and share this great gift and be our guest for a night, week-end or however long your journey takes you.
The house is perfect for a retreat, family gathering, girl’s getaway week-end, biking, birding, or any other reason to escape to this quiet setting. It sleeps up to 10 people, complete kitchen, washer and dryer and a flock of chicken and sheep. All you have to bring is your food. Come and experience our rotational grazed dairy farm with a big Wisconsin welcome!
