Country Crossroads Tour |

A self guided tour of ten gift and craft shops in Trempealeau County as well as a bed and breakfast and coffee shop, deli, and market. Register for door prizes at each stop with a grand-prize drawing for completing the tour. Many of the shops are seasonally decorated, with two of the shops in unique barn settings. | Phoneco has been in business for over 33 yrs. We have a large accumulation of old telephones, parts and related items. The unusual items end up in a room, that we call a museum. Here you will see a Telegraph display, candlestick phone display, (2 of which are connected for visitors to ring and talk on), also 2 wood wall phones connected so one can ring up their old ring number and talk to their neighbor. We have a history of the Galesville switchboard and operator. Many pictures and memorabilia are also on display. Visitors are welcome to browse the plant where we restore the phones. Wood wall phones, payphones, Bakelite’s and more are available to see. If visitors would like a tour; just ask and we will be glad to oblige. | |
