Beaches Corner Arts Studios celebrates spring with an open house and special sale of consigned art and gifts. Some of our local artists will be on hand to demonstrate and answer questions about their work. Healthy snacks and beverages will be served and Ron will favor guests with selections on the accordion by request. Media represented in our gallery include: fiber arts, photography, wood turning and carving, rosemalling, painting, drawing and printmaking, sculpture, rug weaving, braiding and hooking, basketry, pottery, jewelry and Amish crafts. The day concludes with a potluck, community party with local musician's jam and volleyball, that evening.

Jah mon, it’s that time of the year again, time to rasta things up at the annual Reggae Festival. The Trempealeau Hotel as part of its Stars Under the Stars Concert Series starts the season with this annual event. Outdoor food stands will be serving island cuisine such as beans and rice, jerk chicken sandwiches and more. Bring your lawn chairs because as always the event will be held rain or shine.

Founder's Day is a day to remember the Founding of Gale College and the forefathers of Galesville. The event is held the 3rd Sunday of May at 1:00 p.m. with a speaker and GET High School chorus music. Taps are played with a wreath being placed on Judge Gale's gravesite which is located on the historic site of the college grounds.

Pigeon Falls Memorial Day celebration is an annual event featuring barbeque chicken, softball tournaments and a traditional Memorial Day parade. This successful event is one of the first celebrations in the area with family oriented activities. There is a talent show on Sunday evening followed by fireworks. People make a return trip to Pigeon Falls each year not only for the barbeque chicken but also for the grilled brats and hot pork sandwiches.

The second of the Tour de Trempealeau biking series. Five choices of route lengths ranging from 10 to 60+ miles, thru the scenic hills and valleys of the Arcadia area. You will see one of the most beautiful overlooks in Wisconsin during the medium and long tour. The longest tour being a metric century with a mile high of cumulative climbing, this route is a challenge for those cyclists who like to test their abilities.

The Arcadia Lion’s Club extends an invitation for everyone to attend the Arcadia Broiler-Dairy Days on Memorial week-end, where you may attend a variety of events. Events include a 30 team slow pitch softball tournament, bicycle tour, kiddies parade, motorcycle poker run, 5k run, talent show, and horseshoe tournament. Grand parade on Sunday, tractor pull, and live entertainment. Some of the best tastiest locally grown Gold N’ Plump chicken made to perfection on North America’s largest barbeque pit.

Participants in the 50-mile race start and finish near the Trempealeau Hotel, circle the Parrot Park, cross Hwy 35 north of the village and go up and down the scenic hills south of Arcadia. Race participants have six categories for men and women as well as tandem and hand cycles.
